Shot a great little country themed wedding this past weekend. Very creative details, I think my favorite was the grooms boutineer… shotgun shell… awesome!! Anyway meet Tom and the lovely bride Heaven…. cool blog title huh? We had a smaller time frame and tight schedule to capture the moments, BUT mission accomplished. With a cooperating wedding party and two great sets of parents… we nailed the shots we needed and then some…. check out some of thier big day ::
The snowball is on the roll…. seniors if you are thinking about booking for sometime this summer or fall… do it now because usually by the time you’re reading this… Im booking up quick… anyway… meet Samantha. We had a really good session at Hurricane Shoals Park. Got several great looks and some really good clouds in the pics at the end…. check out her session ::
Man…. I am loving this years senior season!! Shoots one after another and each one is fun and unique in its own way… Meet Rebecca and the “entourage”! She contacted me a little over a month ago and has been planning this shoot ever since, we did a little brainstorming between then and now on locations…. when it comes to shooting seniors locations are the biggest challenge. I like to shoot in new spots so they don’t start all looking alike, so if anyone out there reading this has access or can grant me access to new and locations, please let me know I would be much appreciative =) Anyway we shot a few new spots in this shoot and they turned out great… my fav is the alleyway…. check them out ::
……….. and the Entourage!
You guessed it… yet another really great senior session!! Meet Charley a J-town senior this year…. I love shooting seniors as you all know, BUT it’s hard grasping this whole shooting seniors of whom parents that I went to school with….. and Charley’s parents were on they’re way out of HS as I was coming in at least, but that still kinda counts. Oh well you’re only as old as you act they say, so I guess that puts me at about 18….lol! Anyway… great session…. we shot at Hurricane Shoals Park and after shooting there a few times already =) I wanted to try different angles and lenses to give it a different look…. and her mom had a cool idea (get in the water) which ended up looking really good. Check out a few the great shots ::
So my favorite part of the year got kicked off last Sunday… yep, you guessed it….. SENIOR SESSIONS! My style is a little different than most in these parts, but that’s how I like it…. My goal is to make the senior guy or girl feel and look as important as the final year of their long 13 year journey….. I like to capture personalities, hobbies, extra curricular activities and yeap even some attitude… =). My first senior this season is Magan, a senior at JHS….. I was ready to shoot and so was she…. to say I started this season off with a bang may be an understatement….. see for yourself… check out some these rock star shots…… ::
In this business of shooting weddings…. I always get to see couples on the most exciting day of their lives together so far. I love capturing those moments, some couples you have kind of have to get them excited in front of the camera… and some couples you dont….. then there are those couples that could care less if a camera is present or not… they are just that into each other…. well meet Nami and Erik! What a great couple to photograph and some of the best moments between these two were in between the shots…. yeah I caught on too that pretty quickly and got some of those sneaky happy moments…. anyway check out some of the great shots from the Carl House :
When I’m not shooting weddings of my own, i really enjoy assisting and side shooting weddings…. I got asked to side shoot with one of my most favorite photographers ever and they have been one of the most influential people in my wedding photography journey…. so when Craig from Sposabella Photography out of Greenville SC asked me to shoot…. i was like YES!….. check out some great images I got to capture from their wedding at the Poinsett Hotel…. also another previous wedding under a different photographer downtown at the Biltmore in Atlanta…. PS – if you get a chance to attend one of Sposabella’s wedding workshops… I would highly recommend it =) ::
and the man himself in action….. Mr Craig……. looking like a BOSS!
